Little Flowers - Alternative Provision
A trauma-informed, child-centred partnership designed for schools, local authorities, and educational settings. Working together to support some of the most vulnerable young people, with transparency, consistency, and care at its heart.
Our Trauma-Informed Approach
Trauma-informed practice is not a single technique but a whole-setting philosophy. We recognise that behaviour is communication, and that many of our children have experienced adversity that shapes how they relate to the world.
Little Flowers was founded on a simple belief: every child deserves to feel safe, valued, and capable of growth, regardless of their starting point. We are an independent Alternative Provision provider supporting children whose needs cannot always be met within mainstream settings

The children
We specialise in supporting children and young people with complex and overlapping needs. Many arrive with histories of disrupted education, exclusion,
or unmet support requirements. Our provision is built to embrace this complexity.

Our Vision
A world where no child is defined by their barriers, and every young person can flourish
in an environment built around their individual needs.

Our Values
Compassion, consistency, and unconditional positive regard. We meet children where
they are and grow alongside them, one small step at a time.
Timetabling and Attendance
No two children at Little Flowers follow the same timetable. Provision is structured
entirely around individual need, capacity, and therapeutic readiness.
Individualised Schedules
Sessions are paced to match each child's stamina, attention, and emotional regulation,
building up gradually where needed.
Predictable Routines
Consistency of timing and staffing is central to our trauma-informed model and to
building lasting trust
